Congratulations to Judd Trump, winner of EPTC1 (Paul Hunter Classic)

Grove’s Judd Trump won the Paul Hunter Classic with a 4-3 victory over Anthony Hamilton. It was a dramatic final and both players deserve praise for their performance in the tournament. Well done guys.

Congratulations to Tom Ford, PTC3 champion

Tom Ford won his first professional title today, beating Jack Lisowski 4-0 in the Final of PTC3. Well done Tom!
Jack, managed by Grove, had previously outed Mark Selby in the semis, putting an end to a run of 12 consecutives victories in the PTCs. That’s not a mean feat for a MT rookie …

Tribute to Alex Higgins

Alex Higgins died yesterday, aged 61. He was the one who set snooker alight nearly 40 years ago …
Ronnie said “Alex was one of the real inspirations behind me getting into snooker. He is a true legend and should be forever remembered as being the finest ever snooker player.”.

Congratulations to Neil Robertson, our new World Champion.

Neil Robertson, early this morning, became the first world champion from outside the British Isles since Canada’s Cliff Thorburn in 1980 and the first ever Australian. He beat Graeme Dott 18-13 in a true marathon match. Neil’s joy was absolutely endearing.

Ronnie needed just 55 minutes to book his place in the quater finals of the totesport.com Welsh Open 2010 with a 5-0 victory over Jamie Cope, mainly earned through good matchplay tather than stunning performance. Welsh Open 2010 – Last 32 – Ronnie 5-1 Stuart Bingham
