Neil Robertson, early this morning, became the first world champion from outside the British Isles since Canada’s Cliff Thorburn in 1980 and the first ever Australian. He beat Graeme Dott 18-13 in a true marathon match. Neil’s joy was absolutely endearing.
He paid tribute to his opponent Graeme Dott, a man who has overcome serious off the table problems to regain his spot in the elite in the most outstanding way.
Hats off guys, both of you!

But oh, how painfully agonizing was that to watch, awful. Still, nice to see Robertson win, as it would have been equally nice to see Dott win.

Awful final, worse than 2006, not sure the players had ever played snooker before! Star quality was missing. Ronnie where were you, 2010 WC was yours if you had wanted it.

The final sucked A#* big time. It was like me playing a game with my pals at my local snooker club on sunday. I cant go throught a match like that. I am glad that neil won and not selby.

It isn’t unusual to have a disappointing final. At the end of a 17 days marathon the players are tired and the tension is extreme.
As for you go at Selby … well, you are entitled your opinion of course, but this is off topic.
