UK Championship 2009 – Congratulations to Ding Junhui
Ding Junhui became the 2009 UK Champion, today with a hard fought 10-8 victory over John Higgins, winning this major tournament for the second time. This is the fourth ranking title for the young Chinese who confirms his return to form in outstanding fashion. Congratulations!
UK Championship 2009 – Semis – Ronnie 8-9 John Higgins
John Higgins came out the winner of an enthralling match that saw Ronnie come back from 8-2 down to force a decider. Congratulations to John Higgins who will now face Ding Junhui in the Final. And thanks to both players who offered us this fantastic battle.
UK Championship 2009 – Quarters – Ronnie 9-3 Mark Selby
Ronnie defeated Mark Selby with a 9-3 scoreline (he seems to make an habit of it). He will now face his friend and arch-rival John Higgins in the semi finals on Saturday. John defeated Liang Wenbo 9-2. Should be a cracker
UK Championship 2009 – Last 16 – Ronnie 9-3 Peter Ebdon
Ronnie won his Last 16 match against Peter Ebdon, 9-3. His opponent in the quarters will be Mark Sebly who defeated Stephen Hendry 9-5.
UK Championships – Ronnie 9-3 Matthew Stevens
Ronnie has won his first round match against Matthew Stevens 9-3, after losing the first two frames.
His second round opponent will be world no 14 Peter Ebdon, who saw off Judd Trump 9-4.

UK Championship – Monday
Ronnie’s first round match is on Monday against former World No 4 Matthew Stevens. Sessions begin at 1330 and 1900 GMT and you can watch it on BBC2 or Eurosport.
